Lincoln, Nebraska's Stu Snyder captured his sixth feature win of the season on Thursday, August 6 at US 30 Speedway in Columbus, Nebraska with the Sprint Series of Nebraska. Snyder piloted the KRL Motorsports RaceSaver sprint car to a feature win when the race was shortened due to a crash that took down the catch fence.
Omaha, Nebraska's Remmi Butolph powered her Restrictor micro sprint to a feature win on Sunday, August 9 at the Concordia High Banks in Concordia, Kansas. This marks the first feature win for the Remmi Butolph Racing team in 2020.
Jacob Swanson and the Swanson Racing team took the weekend off due to a family emergency. Swanson plans to return to racing this weekend at Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Nebraska on Friday, August 14.
Nick Nichols and the Nichols Racing #75 took to Sherman County Speedway in Goodland, Kansas on Sunday, August 9 with the United Rebel Sprint Series. Nichols had a good run going when something occurred midway through the 25-lap feature event causing a DNF.
The Midwest Micro Series had events on Friday, August 7 and Sunday, August 9. On Friday, the Midwest Micro Series participated at Brooklyn Raceway. Travis Rewerts captured the feature win on Friday night and Tyler Lee finished second. On Sunday, Midwest Micro Series drivers headed to Benton County Speedway in Vinton, Iowa. Tyler Lee captured the feature win and Rewerts claimed the runner-up position.
The United Rebel Sprint Series headed to the western-Kansas 3/8-mile of Sherman County Speedway in Goodland, Kansas on Sunday, August 9. Taylor Velasquez picked up his second feature win of the year with the United Rebel Sprint Series. Zach Blurton edged back ahead into the points lead by two points over JD Johnson. The United Rebel Sprint Series heads to Oberlin Speedway on Friday, August 14 and Saturday, August 15 for the Bob Salem Memorial.
